4 finalists named for UMB chancellor

he list of prospective candidates for chancellor of the Boston campus has been narrowed to four finalists, whose names have been forwarded by the search committee to President William M. Bulger for his review.

     The four finalists are Jo Ann Gora, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Old Dominion University in Virginia; Louise Mirrer, executive vice chancellor for academic affairs at City University of New York; Luis Paradise, executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and provost at the University of New Orleans; and James Wyche, an associate provost at Brown University.

     The search panel was chaired by trustee Diane Bissonnette Moes and included faculty, staff, students and alumni.
