Instructional Experience
At the University of Massachusetts: introductory soil science, soil management for turf, intermediate soil science, soil and water conservation, soil formation, wetland delineation, soil mapping, hydric soils, soil evaluation (mandatory course taught on behalf of the Massachusetts DEP).

At Rutgers University (New Jersey) and IWEER: wetland delineation and hydric soils. The above courses are taught on a regular basis. In addition, I have made numerous presentations to the general public, regulatory officials and professionals.

• Consultant and expert witness for local and state regulatory personnel, and private individuals and organizations for onsite sewage treatment and disposal, and wetland identification and delineation issues.
• Lead trainer for the soil evaluator program on contract with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
