Employment & Financial Assistance Overview

The Department of Plant, Soil and Insect Sciences is a team of faculty, instructors, outreach educators, other professional staff, administrative support staff, technical support staff, and students. We are a very diverse group, with a broad range of expertise. We work in classrooms, laboratories, offices, greenhouses, fields, farms, orchards, and more. We can also be found in both public and commercial sectors providing various services. We are the largest department in the College of Natural Resources and the Environment, and we are looking to grow in the future. Maybe you would like to become part of our team?

The Department occasionally has an opening for a new faculty, instructor, postdoctoral researcher, or professional staff member. More often, we will have full or part time opportunities for various support staff. We also usually have openings during the academic year and summers for student employees. All available jobs in the Department at every level will be posted on our Employment in the Department page.  Faculty and some professional positions will also be advertised in newspapers and professional journals.
