About Donations

Many thanks to all of our Alumni & Friends who made recent
donations of money, goods, or services to our Department.
Your gifts are always put to good use, and your support is very much appreciated.

Making Donations
Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences deeply appreciates any contributions to help support our Department. Monetary donations are most often used to help send students to professional meetings. We are also considering setting up a student scholarship fund. Additionally, we will honor any specific request to channel funds as directed by a donor. Contributions of useful supplies and equipment to support our teaching and research programs will be gladly accepted as well. We thank you for your support and interest.

Monetary contributions to our Department can be made via mail, phone, or online. Please remember to specify our Department as the gift recipient.

Print and fill out out the UMass Amherst Donation Form (PDF)
Please specify Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences as the designated gift recipient. Send the completed form, along with your gift check (or credit card information) to the address listed on the donation form.

• Go to: http://www.umass.edu/giving/
• Click the "Give Now" button at the top of the page.
• Fill in requested information up until the "Gift Allocation" section
• Use the drop-down arrow to select the very last option:
  "Other, enter below"
• Another box will appear after clicking/selecting this option. Please type "Department of Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences" in the new box
• Click on "Next: Review and Confirm" and continue to complete and submit the online form
