The Stockbridge School of Agriculture, founded in 1918, is a part of the College of Natural Sciences. The Stockbridge School offers an Associate of Science degree in six majors. These majors integrate the science, business and technical skills required of professionals within the equine, food crops, and green industries.Three of the majors are centered around course work in the Department of Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences. These are:
• Fruit and Vegetable Crops
• Horticulture
• Turfgrass Management
Forty percent of Stockbridge graduates transfer to the University to complete a bachelor degree.
