The University of Massachusetts at Amherst is located on 1,450 acres in the scenic Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.To find Amherst and the UMass Campus, please see the directions on the UMass Website for information about travel to the area via planes, trains, or busses. You may wish to stop by the Robsham Memorial Center for Visitors for admissions brochures, campus maps, and general information about the University, or come directly to our Main Office.

The Main Offices of the Department of Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences (PSIS) are located in Fernald Hall (as pictured). To find Fernald Hall, please refer to the Campus Map. The map also shows were public, metered parking is available. The PSIS Main Offices are in Rooms 101-102 Fernald Hall. You are always welcome to stop by for information.

Our Department is housed in several different buildings on Campus. If you have made an appointment to see a specific Faculty member, you can either locate their building using the Campus Map, or come to the Main Office in Fernald Hall and we will be happy to assist you.
