Troubleshooting PRS


My transmitter doesn't work

  1. Check the batteries to make sure that they are not dead, and that they are fully in place.
  2. Turn the clicker on and off just to make sure that it wasn't an issue with the batteries.
  3. If these two steps don't work, go to the Textbook Annex with your receipt and clicker. (If it is within the warranty period of one year)

I got an "Error – not sent" message. What should I do?

  1. Try resending your response. If the message repeats, you probably lost connection.
  2. Restart the clicker, and reconnect to the class. Try sending your response again.
  3. If the problem persists, you might want to try changing your clicker batteries, or sitting closer to the professor's receiver.

How long is the warranty on my clicker?

The PRS Clicker warranty lasts for one year after its initial purchase.
