PRS at UMass AmherstPRS has been in use at UMass Amherst since 1998 and has been used in hundreds of courses, playing a vital role in the education of thousands of students. Courses using PRS include Biology 105, Chemistry 262, English 270, Political Science 101, Res-Econ 211 and 212 and Psychology 500. The UMass Amherst PRS community is a strong one, dedicated to sharing information and instructional strategies for using technology in the classroom. To that end, in 2008, a community of Best Practice Fellows created a handbook for using PRS here at UMass Amherst:PRS Best Practices Handbook(.pdf).
