PRS Receiver/Software Setup
Downloading and Installing the Interwrite Response Software

Go to the Interwrite website and download the "Interwrite Response" software.

Locate the software's installation file on your computer, and open the file.

You will be prompted to install the Response Software. Click Next to accept.

Another prompt will come up with a warning about compatibility with previous versions of Interwrite software.
WARNING: If you currently have another Installation of Interwrite Response, or Interwrite Workplace, you may corrupt the files by continuing. To fix this issue, you may be required to uninstall the pre-existing install, and reinstall the software.
Click Next.

A copy of the License Agreement for using Interwrite Response will pop up.
If you agree with their terms of use, click "I accept the terms in the license agreement" in the radio box, and then click Next.

Two dialoge boxes will appear asking for your User Name and Organization. Fill them out with the appropriate information.
Then select whether you would like the Response software to be available for all user accounts on your computer or merely your own.
Click Next.

Next select your Installation type. Typical installs the typical options, while Custom allows you to customize your installation.
Click Next.

Click Install.

The Installation process may take a few minutes...

When the Installation has completed, click Finish.
Using the PRS Receiver with the Interwrite Response software:

Plug in PRS USB Receiver into your computer's USB slot.

Start up the Interwrite Response Software.

Select Setup my Hardware.

Select Receivers in the side menu and then select Scan Ports.

Your Receiver should then be found. Click Close.
My Receiver isn't being found!
