Is your computer ready?Most instructors use their own laptops to run PRS. There are a few department-controlled rooms on campus with computers available, but for the most part instructors are expected to take their laptops to class and run the PRS system though them. To use PRS, you need:
PRS System requirements:Windows Requirements:Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, or VistaIntel Pentium III Processor 1GHz or higher (or equivalent) 512 MB RAM 200 MB hard disk space is required XVGA (1024 x 768) or higher resolution video with minimum of 16 bit color USB Port (To plug in the receiver) Mac Requirements:Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4700 MHz processor or higher (includes support for Intel Macs) 512 MB RAM 200 MB hard disk space for installation 1024 x 768 or higher resolution video Available USB Port for Receiver installation Linux Requirements:The following Linux builds are supported:
