Is your classroom ready?Any classroom with a projector can be a PRS classroom!Many classrooms on campus have video projectors built in, but it is advised that you check first. (List of classrooms with projectors) Do I need a USB Receiver?
The new PRS RF receivers are small (about the size of the USB “thumb drives”). You simply plug the receiver into a USB port on your laptop, and you will be able to receive student PRS responses. If you plan on using PRS in your class and need one of these portable RF receivers, please contact the OIT Instructional Media Lab at instruct@oit.umass.edu.
Does my classroom have a built in receiver?Some rooms do have built in PRS RF receivers. The receivers are in the black cabinets in most rooms. Rooms with built-in receivers:
