Edmund J. Ferszt, a veteran administrator of collegiate continuing education programs in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania, has been tapped to lead an expansion of summer and intersession programs at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Ferszt, who most recently served as associate dean for curriculum development in Brown University’s continuing education office, will begin his new duties as assistant provost for summer programs on Feb. 27, according to UMass Amherst Provost James V. Staros.
