General Studies
Concentration
This
program of study is for students who want a diverse sampling of courses
in plant and soil sciences and a wide variety of experiences in their
studies. Students select courses from a number of subject areas, giving
them a broad based foundation in plant and soil sciences and making them
competitive for a variety of employment opportunities requiring broad
horticultural knowledge.
Restrictions:
- At least six credits
at the 500-level.
- Not more than 3
credits of independent study or internship.
- Independent study
cannot be used to satisfy the 500-level requirement.
- Students must also
select a Track to supplement
their concentration area.
In addition to the foundation
course work required of all Plant, Soil, & Insect Sciences students, the following
courses are required:
|
