PLNTSOIL 597L:  Wetland Delineation

Course Description:
Wetland delineation techniques including assessment of the vegetation, hydrology and soils. First portion of the class is concerned with hydrophytic plant identification and preparation of an herbarium. Hydric soil formation and properties are discussed in the second portion. The last section deals with delineation methodology, winter plant identification, and student presentations on current issues dealing with wetland identification and delineation.
