Welcome back Alumni! Actually, you never really left us. When you graduated from the University of Massachusetts as a major in Plant & Soil Sciences, Entomology, Plant Pathology, or Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences, you automatically became an Alumni Member of our Department. We hope that the knowledge and skills you gained during your time with us at UMass have served you well. We also hope that we made a lasting contribution towards your success in current and future endeavors. In many ways, your success is our success. Your accomplishments are a nice reflection on both you and our Department. We are very glad that you stopped by for a visit to our Website.

UMass Minutemen logoWe welcome our Friends as well. We consider anyone who likes our Department for professional or personal reasons as a good friend. Perhaps you are a current or past employee of ours. Maybe you are a current or former student who took one or more of our classes. Did one of our professors make a lasting, excellent impression on you? Perhaps you might be a business or industry that we've interacted with in a Research or Extension capacity. Maybe you have employed some of our Student Alumni and found their knowledge and training to be impressive. Or maybe you just have a soft spot for the field of Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences. For whatever the reason, we're happy that you were interested enough to see how we're doing. Welcome to our Website.

Through this Alumni & Friends page, we wish to keep you abreast of changes and happenings in our Department. You can find out what our current and past Faculty, Staff and Students are up to, as well as updates on our Academic Programs, Research efforts, and Community Services. We also hope to find out more about you and what you've been up to since you left us. Please feel free to browse these Alumni & Friends pages, as well as the rest of the Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences Website. Your comments and suggestions will be very much appreciated. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
