
Research:
Gina is new to the anthropology program at UMASS. Her MA research focused on evaluating the effect of weight (specifically obesity) on bone properties through analysis of long bone cross-sectional shape and expression of muscle attachment sites. Her current interests include (but are not limited to) extension of her work into bioarchaeology and bone remodeling theory and process.
