Research
My research interests and projects include the biomechanics of knuckle walking in the great apes, hominoid tool use, and primate behavior and anatomy. The main focus of my research is the forelimb and how the morphology of the manual elements can be used to infer locomotion in early hominid ancestors. I am also interested in skeletal preparation and museum curation and am currently a research assistant in the morphometrics lab (W-16).
