Students must complete a minimum of five courses (15 credits) including three courses above the 100 level. Normally, students organize their study so as to focus on one area within philosophy. A student planning to minor in philosophy should consult an undergraduate advisor.

DECLARING A MINOR IN PHILOSOPHY

A minor is declared after you have taken, or signed up for, at least five philosophy courses.

To declare a minor in Philosophy,

  • Print and fill out the following form.

  • Return it to the Registrar's Office.
