Sam Cowling

I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and did my BA at the University of Victoria (2004) and my MA at the University of Manitoba (2005). I've worked in a trailer park, a pawn shop, a few gas stations, and a cafeteria. I've also been a sessional instructor.

I work primarily on issues in metaphysics and the philosophy of science. At the moment, I'm writing a dissertation about identity and modality. I've also done and continue to do research on Kant as well as the philosophy of language.
