Sam Cowling
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and did my BA at UVic (2004) and my MA at the University of Manitoba (2005). I've worked in a trailer park, a pawn shop, a few gas stations, and a cafeteria. I've also been a sessional instructor.
My favourite philosophical 'isms' are nominalism and naturalism, so I spend a lot of my time trying to figure out how they're related to one another. At the moment, I've also been thinking a fair bit about the nature of ontological categories and the merits of moral functionalism.
