Current Recertification Training Workshops

UMass Extension Pesticide Education Program just completed a workshops series offered from May 27-June 12. Pesticide Recertification Training workshops will be offer again in fall 2020. Please contact Natalia Clifton at to receive the workshops' announcement. The Massachusetts Dept. of Agricultural Resources extended the 3 year cycle for those folks who had to get their contact hours by July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.

The Fall 2020 workshop series will include topics: Pesticide Applicator Safety, Pesticides and Impacts on Wildlife, Pesticide Exposure Studies, Pesticide Storage, Mixing and Loading Guidelines; Pesticide Laws and Regulations, Pesticides and Pollinators Update, Special Topics for Pesticide Applicators. The workshops are for two contact hours for all categories of licenses. These classes will be held online using the Zoom video conference system so that everyone can obtain information and continuing education contact hours in a safe manner.
