Vaishnavi received her bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) in Mumbai, India. During her studies, she researched solid lipid nanoparticles for oral drug delivery and also worked on 3D bioprinting technology where most of the hands-on work she did was on pharmaceuticals. Her PhD research will focus on the development of microfluidic platforms for time-resolved protein crystallography. In her free time, she usually enjoys reading books and journaling ideas and experiences of the places she has been to and also playing badminton.
