Matt Labbe (he/him)

Biographical Statement

Matt graduated in 2020 from the Commonwealth Honors College with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He was also an active member of AIChE and served as the Freshman Class Representative and Regional Liason. His research focused on investigating the effects of polymer chemistry and length on the rheology of complex coacervates. Matt also enjoys going on overnight hiking and biking trips and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

In 2018, Matt participated in the internship program at Covestro.

Over the summer of 2019, Matt worked with the development team at HP on photolithography for inkjet technology in Corvallis, OR. After graduation, he will be working as a Process Engineer on the R&D team working on the fluidic flow layers of silicon wafer chips for ink cartridges!
