Biographical Statement

Khiem completed his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware in 2023. After graduation, he also briefly worked as a contracted research engineer at STRIDE, a non-profit organization aimed to study and prevent PFAS contaminations. In his spare time, Khiem likes to read (business & self-improvement), study the stock market, and optimize his Notion dashboard. Khiem's current research is focused on the development of microfluidic methods for manufacturing mRNA.

In summer 2024 Khiem interned at OceanSpray. They were "juiced" to have him join their team!

Khiem Le successfully defended his MS thesis on Development of Automated Infrastructures in Microfluidics for Site-Specific Labeling of RNA (PLOR) on July 3rd, 2025. Khiem was the fourth MS student to graduate from the Perry Lab! He will be moving on to a technical sales position at the automation company Keyence.
