Biographical Statement

Juanfeng Sun was part of the inaugural Masters Degree program in the Chemical Engineering Department. He earned his B.S. degree in Chemical engineering from University of New Hampshire. He was jointly advised by both Prof. Sarah Perry and Prof. Jessica Schiffman. His research focused on the electrospinning of complex coacervates. In his free time, he enjoys playing all kind of sports like basketball, soccer, frisbee, etc., and loves Jesus.

Sun successfully defended his MS thesis on Electrospinning Nanofibers from Chitosan-Hyaluronic Acid Complex Coacervates on March 28th, 2019. He was the first MS student to graduate from the Perry Lab! Sun is now an engineer at Complete Genomics.
