All parents of undergraduate students are members of the UMass Amherst Parents Association (UMAPA) and there is no charge for being a member.
The UMAPA helps build the connection between UMass parents and the campus community. A number of area merchants are offering UMAPA members discounts at their shops and restaurants. UMAPA membership cards are mailed to families annually at the start of the Fall semester along with our Parents Association Calendar and Handbook.
We also hope to increase parent involvement on campus by expanding opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy.

UMass Amherst Parents Association was created to strengthen the partnership between UMass and the parents of our undergraduate students. The mission of UMAPA is to provide support and information to the parents and guardians of UMass undergraduate students to help insure a positive and successful campus experience.
