A: UMass offers extensive library resources which
are available to the citizens of Massachusetts. These
include the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, the tallest in the
world, which includes a large amount of social and behavioral
science, historical, humanities, music resources, business
and other resources; the Biological Sciences Library;
and the Physical Sciences and Engineering Library. Historical
information about UMass, Amherst, western Massachusetts,
historical personages, etc., can be garnered by contacting the
