This survey focuses particularly on students' experiences in their major and is administered to graduating seniors each Spring.
The University of Massachusetts Amherst's course evaluation instrument was developed as collaboration between the Office of Academic Planning and Assessment (OAPA), the Center for Teaching (CFT), and the Faculty Senate Council on Teaching, Learning and Technology. The instrument is grounded in the vast literature on course evaluations and "Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education".
