The Office of Academic Planning and Assessment is seeking a full time professional to design, execute, and manage evaluation processes at the course, program, and institutional level. We are looking for an individual who combines a facility with statistical methods with direct experience in designing and implementing research projects. The Evaluation Specialist will be a part of a collaborative team engaged in a wide range of assessment, institutional research, and planning activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years' relevant experience OR Master's degree plus two (2) years' relevant experience; (the degrees should be in higher education, the social sciences or related field); two years' experience in assessment, planning, or institutional research, preferably in higher education; extensive knowledge of measurement and evaluation, survey research, and statistical analysis techniques; experience managing and using complex data bases; (SAS or SPSS preferred) and superior analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
Hiring salary range: $44,300 to $55,500 Normal starting range is $44,300 to $49,900.
