PhD in Nursing

The Ph.D. in Nursing Program prepares nurse researchers, scholars, and educators to advance nursing knowledge and improve professional practice.

Applicants should hold either a baccalaureate or master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.

Program requirements include a minimum of 57 credits (for master’s-prepared students) and 78 credits (for baccalaureate students).  The course of study prepares students to synthesize knowledge from nursing and a range of other disciplines in order to address complex healthcare issues and fill leadership roles in nursing research and education.

Information Session

PhD Information Session will be on Tuesday, March 12th from 5:30-6:30 pm in Skinner 106 and via conferencing software. In order to participate you will need an Internet connection and audio on your computer.
