New Role Option for Online DNP Program
In response to the APRN Consensus Model combining the adult and gerontology populations under one role specialization, the College of Nursing is pleased to announce the opening of our new advanced practice nurse (APN) speciality--the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
We will now be accepting applications for admission for Summer/Fall 2014. This popular specialty will prepare students to be eligible to sit for the new AGPCNP board certification examination through either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
For those students currently enrolled in our Graduate Programs (CNL, DNP or PhD) who would like to consider this new specialty please contact Karen Ayotte: firstname.lastname@example.org.
