DNP Candidate Inducted into American Academy of Nursing

Cynthia Kuehner, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student and Commanding Officer at the U.S. Naval Hosptial Okinawa (Usnho), Japan was recently inducted into the American Academy of Nursing.

Before that, she presented at the annual APMHE (Asia Pacific Military Health Exchange) Conference in China in September 2018.

New Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Appointed

Cynthia Jacelon, PhD RN-BC CRRN FGSA FAAN, has been appointed as Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Nursing for the 2018-2019 academic year. Prior to this appointment, Jacelon directed the College of Nursing’s PhD program for six years and has been teaching at UMass Amherst since 1994.
