We are holding the School of Nursing Alumni and Friends Reception on Thursday, April 18th at 7:00pm at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.

School of Nursing alumni practice nursing throughout the world and in every specialty. To foster mutual goals, the Alumni Board builds a network of support to celebrate alumni achievements, communicate timely information, and help the School achieve its aims.

As alumni, you receive regular communications from the School, invitations to our well-attended events, and requests for your support. We aim to keep you informed of the School’s activities, bring you messages from the Dean and the Alumni Board, and highlight the professional achievements of your fellow alumni—now numbering in the thousands.

Participating in our alumni activities will benefit you in various important ways throughout your life, and is critical to our shared success. Hluchyj Fellowship News

Doctoral students Akshaya Shanmugam of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department and Jalil Johnson from the School of Nursing have been named the 2012-2013 Hluchyj Fellows at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The Hluchyj Graduate Fellowship was started by Dr. Michael Hluchyj, a 1979 alumnus of the Electrical and Computer Engineering, and his wife, Theresa "Terry" Hluchyj, a 1977 alumna from the School of Nursing.  Read more
