Achieving Diversity Scholarship Application

This scholarship opportunity was established in 2012.  The Achieving Diversity Nursing Workforce Enhancement Scholarship opportunity is designed to support nursing students dedicated to promoting diversity, increasing positive patient health outcomes, working to decrease health care disparities and promoting health equity.

Eligibility:  First and second semester junior nursing students from the Traditional Undergraduate Nursing and Second Baccalaureate Programs.

Selection:  Both merit and financial need based scholarships will be awarded. 

Interested individuals should apply by October 15, 2014.

Your scholarship will be posted in SPIRE if awarded.

• Recipients agree to participate in at least three (3) ADI community outreach activities and to continue working to maintain academic excellence.
• Financial need and other information provided by Financial Aid Services
• No attachments necessary.

Eligibility Requirement: First and second semester junior nursing students from the Traditional Undergraduate Nursing and Second Baccalaureate tracks. Selection is based on the following:
• Recipients agree to participate in at least three (3) ADI community outreach activities
• Academic and clinical accomplishment and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and promotion of health equity.
• No attachments necessary.
