The College of Nursing offers academic programs at the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral levels to prepare graduates to practice in a variety of health care, research and academic settings.

Undergraduate 

Nursing Major

Build a solid foundation for career and graduate success in an innovative environment for learning, inquiry, and discovery.

Accelerated BS in Nursing 

Pursue a nursing career in an accelerated 17-month curriculum. For individuals with a non-nursing bachelor's degree. Offered at the UMass Center at Springfield.

RN to BS (Online)

Complete your degree in 1 or 2 years, depending on the plan of study you choose.

Spanish Health Certificate

Enhance your ability to work with Spanish-speaking populations by learning about Spanish language and culture and engaging in an experiential component in a Spanish-speaking community setting. (Open only to current undergraduate Nursing students)

Graduate 

Master of Science Program (Online)

  • Clinical Nurse Leader Concentration

  • Nursing Education Concentration 
  • Nursing Science Concentration

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) (Online)

Prepare as an advanced practice nurse at the highest level. Specializations: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Public Health Nurse Leader (PHNL), Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), Post Master's DNP Completion, or Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Ph.D. in Nursing

Prepare as a nurse researcher, scholar, and educator to advance nursing knowledge and improve professional practice.

Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education

Prepare for an educator role in colleges, universities or clinical settings.

Graduate Certificate in Complementary and Integrative Modalities
