UMass Amherst prepared me for the real world. I was able to interact closely with the faculty and just talk.

The relationships I have with my advisors and professors, who are well connected in the field, has given me great job and research opportunities.

The technical science-based classes offered detailed explanations and examples of real situations relating to my particular field of study.

I work alongside four other BMATWT graduates and I can see the direct correlation between the knowledge I learned at UMass and the way I spend my days.

I loved my experience at UMass Amherst. I would recommend it to anyone. I received individual and personalized attention, but also had the opportunities of a large university.

The sales and marketing classes were extremely helpful. Blueprint estimating was a plus for speaking with contractors.

This program serves as a practical base of knowledge from which any number of career paths could be pursued.

I was very well prepared for the construction industry. Many of the issues I was exposed to at UMass Amherst five years ago are cutting edge in my industry today. I have a very big leg up.

On the technical side I have been very well prepared and have been given a knowledge base that has helped put me in a good position in my career.

I really appreciated the small class environment this major provided me. It made a large campus much smaller for me and allowed me to really blossom in what had started as an overwhelming undergrad career.
