POSITION AVAILABLE - Summer Research Assistant

The Environmental Physiology program at the University of Massachusetts Cranberry Station in East Wareham, MA, has a summer position available. The Physiology lab is currently engaged in researching several aspects of cranberry and grapevine physiology. The position would enable the successful candidate to gain both laboratory and field experience while working in an active research lab.

Duties include assisting with sample collection, preparation, and analysis for both cranberry and grape experiments. Student must be willing to work in field plots, greenhouse, and laboratory.

Driver’s license required. Biology background preferred.

Salary is $8.00 per hour base minimum, but may be increased for candidates with a high level of qualifications.
