How to Register for Parents & Family Orientation

You can register for the Parents and Family Orientation once your student has signed up for orientation.

Register for Orientation

Please complete the online registration form indicating the session date and program you plan to attend. You may pay by credit card or check.

If you wish to pay by check, make the check payable to: University of Massachusetts Amherst. Please include your student's name and ID number on the check.

Send both the check and the printout of your registration form to:

Where to Park

The only place to park during the Parents and Family Orientation is the Campus Center Parking Garage. You MUST park here to avoid ticketing in the "permit only" lots. You will receive a one-time exit pass.

Accommodations

Winter orientation sessions are one day programs. If you need to spend the night, you should arrange for your own overnight accommodations. A discounted rate is available at the Campus Center Hotel. To make a reservation, please contact the hotel by phone at 1-877-822-2110, and ask for the "NSO Winter Rate"
