Favorite thing about being a UMass Amherst Student:  I appreciate that UMass is a place where you can change your mind. There are endless majors, clubs, and opportunities here which allow students to figure out who they are.

Most interesting thing you’ve done or place you’ve been as part of your UMass experience: This past semester I studied abroad in Florence, Italy thanks to the help of the International Programs Office here at UMass! Living on my own in a completely different country with rich history, amazing food, and beautiful art was a once in a lifetime opportunity that every student should take advantage of if they have the chance. I can now officially say that I have sketched Michelangelo's David in person- every art student's dream! Oh, and then there was pizza. Lots of pizza.

Any words of advice for new students?: Don't be afraid to be different; this isn't high school anymore! Being true to yourself is officially the cool thing to do.

Interests/Hobbies/Spare Time Activities:  On campus I am in Alpha Chi Omega, the Student Alumni Association, and work as a Resident Assistant. In my (little) free time you can find me watching Netflix, crafting, or camping out in a dining hall for five consecutive hours!
