Summer Transfer Student Registration
We acknowledge your previous college experience and want to make sure you get off to a great start at UMass Amherst!
While most of the time during your Transfer Student Registration session is spent taking care of the business for the fall semester, you will also spend time learning about resources, getting to know your new classmates, and discovering your new campus.
Requests are processed on a first come, first served basis and only after Admissions posts your enrollment fee as received.

Your Schedule Overview
Students transfer to UMass Amherst from a variety of institutions and for many reasons—each transition is hardly a one size fits all experience. As a transfer student, one of the first decisions you will make about UMass is whether you want to attend an overnight or a one day program.
Both programs allow you to take care of business including receiving academic advising, registering for fall courses, gathering information about on and off campus housing, and getting your student ID. The overnight program allows you extra time to get to know the campus, socialize, and check out the residence halls.
