Favorite thing about being a UMass Amherst Student:  I love being a student here because of the diversity of people. I could have gone to a tech school and been with all engineering majors, but I would have never met the inspirational people that I have already become so close with that are in Isenberg or Social & Behavioral Sciences.

Most interesting thing you’ve done or place you’ve been as part of your UMass experience: There's a lake called Puffer's Pond in North Amherst with a dam that makes a waterfall. This past fall I liked to bike up there and just relax for an hour or so and look out onto the pond and listen to some music to get my head away from the classwork.

Any words of advice for new students?:  To all incoming students, just know that there are seemingly endless crowds of people on campus. Just because you have a roommate doesn't mean you have to be best friends with him/her. I can guarantee that there are people around that are just like you, whether you believe it or not. It may be hard, but you will find your group and fit in, trust me!

Interests/Hobbies/Spare Time Activities:  I play club and intramural tennis, intramural basketball, play Call of Duty and Guitar Hero, listen to just about every type of music, thoroughly enjoy biking, love movies, Boston sports, and math.
