Researchers from three campus departments are recruiting current Volkswagen owners (or lease holders) to participate in a paid research study.
Participants in the study will be asked to wear a wristband that measures personal emissions exposure as well as complete a series of short, 10-minute questionnaires. At the completion of the study, participants will receive a full analysis of their personal exposure levels as well as a $20 gift card.
Participants must be over the age of 18, live in the greater Pioneer Valley region, and either own or lease a 2009-2016 gasoline- or diesel-engine Volkswagen vehicle. Participation in the study is completely voluntary, and you may choose to exit the study at any time.
The study is a collaborative effort by researchers in the departments of environmental conservation, psychological and brain sciences, and environmental health sciences.
