Xing Keynotes International Symposium; Honored by Journal for Peer Reviews

Baoshan Xing, professor of environmental and soil chemistry in the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, gave an invited keynote presentation at the 15th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances held Nov. 6-11 in Basel, Switzerland.

His address was titled “Mechanistic insight into adsorption of ionizable organic compounds on carbonaceous materials using carbon nanotubes.”

Xing was also recently selected for a Super Reviewer Award from Environmental Science & Technology, a journal in environmental sciences, engineering and technology. The award honors reviewers “who consistently make major contributions to the journal over multiple years.”

The names of the reviewer award winners are featured on the cover of the journal’s November issue.
