William D. Brady, an experienced administrator in employee and labor relations in higher education, has been named assistant vice chancellor for human resources.
He begins his new duties on Sept. 25.
Brady has more than nine years of experience in human resources, most recently serving as assistant vice president, employee and labor relations, at the University of Oregon in Eugene. Prior to that, he was director of employee benefits and compensation for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. He was previously a labor attorney with a law firm in Ohio.
Andrew P. Mangels, vice chancellor for administration and finance, said, “I am excited to have Bill join us from the University of Oregon. Bill has extensive experience in labor and employee relations and other human resources areas at public universities which will enable him to lead our human resources division in providing high quality services to the campus. I look forward to welcoming Bill to our campus leadership team.”
Brady received a bachelor’s degree from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, and his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
