WFCR HD2 program lineup expands offerings

WFCR’s new high definition program stream offers listeners more options, including news, information and music offerings.

Weekday highlights on WFCR HD2 include classical music from 5-9 a.m., “Fresh Air” at 1 p.m., followed by “Talk of the Nation” and “The World” with more classical music from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Saturdays bring classical music from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then “Weekend America” and the “Tavis Smiley Show,” followed up by another block of classical music from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Sundays start off with “Speaking of Faith” at 6 a.m. and “Sound and Spirit,” followed by two hours of “Sunday Baroque.” “Bob Edwards Weekend” airs from 10 a.m. to noon. Later there''s “On the Media” and “Studio 360” before the week closes out with classical music beginning at 2 p.m.

WFCR HD2 88.5 can be heard on new, specially equipped HD Radio receivers or via the Internet at WFCR.org.
