University of Tennessee Professor Bruce Bursten is Finalist for Provost

A third finalist for provost and senior vice chancellor for academic affairs, Bruce Bursten, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at the University of Tennessee, is scheduled to visit campus Monday, April 7 and participate in a public forum from 3-4 p.m. in 174-76 Campus Center.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the session.

Bursten previously served as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and Distinguished University Professor and chair of the department of chemistry at Ohio State University. He holds a doctorate in inorganic chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
