UMass Dining App Wins Mobile Web Award

AMHERST, Mass. – UMass Dining has received a Mobile Web Award for Outstanding Achievement in Mobile Development 2016 from the Web Marketing Association during an international competition that recognizes excellence in design of apps and web presence.

Available for free downloading from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the UMass Dining app makes it simple to access favorite campus dining locations with daily menus, nutrient analysis, operating hours, real-time traffic reports, special offers and other information. 

App users can also receive receive notifications and special offers from nearby UMass Dining locations using Beacon technology and get directions to any UMass Dining location. Other features allow users to mark favorite dining locations for quick accessibility, plan menus, choose dietary preferences and allergens, access FAQs, connect with UMass Dining social media brands and contact UMass Dining directly for assistance and submit feedback.
