UMass Amherst Celebrates "Madiba's Gifts: Nelson Mandela's Life and Legacies"

    The UMass Amherst community celebrated the life of Nelson Mandela on April 4, 2014 with a special event, Madiba's Gifts: Nelson Mandela's Life and Legacies – A Tribute. The event featured keynote speaker Garrey M. Dennie, a former speechwriter for Mandela and a current professor of history at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
