The Joint Task Force on Resource Allocation invites all faculty, students and staff to attend an open campus forum on Thursday, Feb. 6 at noon in 168C Campus Center.
The panel’s co-chairs, Tim Anderson and Elizabeth Chilton, will provide an update on the progress of the task force as it leads the campus in an analysis of our current resource allocation process and make recommendations for the future.
The task force is a direct result of the first phase of the campus’ strategic planning process, which identified transparency, rationality and fairness in resource allocation as critical to achieving strategic priorities as a university. There will be plenty of time for feedback, suggestions and questions.
The charge, membership and notes from the activities of the task force are available at its website: www.umass.edu/provost/strategic-planning/joint-taskforce-resource-allocation.
Comments can be sent to the task force via both a blog and e-mail address at the site.
