Every first-year student in the Isenberg School of Management will participate Nov. 2 and 9 in poster presentations that focus on the role of business in society.
The event will involve 150 groups of three to four students each, from the "Transitions" seminar, who have researched topics on business'' role in society. Some broad areas were given for them to consider, including the responsibility of business in society; ethical leadership; ethical decision-making; corporate governance.
Research outcomes will be presented in a poster fair forum. Students will present their topic in visually appealing posters and will be prepared to answer questions on their research. Half the class will be presenting each day, and the other half will be evaluating their peers. In addition, indepedent judges will evaluate the presentations and the public is invited.
