The department of communication disorders is looking for individuals 40-59 years of age to participate in NIH-funded studies of hearing changes with age.
The purpose of these studies is to identify how early age-related changes in hearing and cognitive functions, such as working memory and processing speed, influence problems that people experience understanding speech.
Participation will require one 1-2-hour visit. During this visit, participants will complete tests of hearing, speech comprehension and cognition. Participants will be paid $10 per hour.
